At present, the preferred female connector for electric bees is made of four commonly used plastic materials, P, 6T, 9T, and LCP, which differ in quality, temperature resistance, and price. The following are the differences between these materials;

P plastic material: generally used for producing 2.54 with a spacing of 180 degrees/90 degrees, and a welding temperature resistance of only about 200 degrees. Due to its low cost, high strength, and friction resistance, this material still has many customers choosing it. However, due to the low melting temperature and plastic melting phenomenon during peak welding, the material has poor formability and severe shrinkage.

6T plastic material: This material is generally used for 2.54 pitch patch busbars, 1.27 pitch/2.0 pitch series busbars. Due to its resistance to welding temperatures of 260 degrees Celsius and a maximum instantaneous temperature of 290 degrees Celsius, the cost of producing female connectors using this material is slightly higher. Choosing this material is generally a customer's requirement for product quality.

9T plastic material: This material is similar to 6T plastic material and is generally used for 2.54 pitch patch nesting and 1.27 pitch/2.0 pitch series nesting. The welding resistance temperature is 260 degrees, and the highest instantaneous temperature can reach 300 degrees. Due to the high cost of using this material, customers only use 9T plastic material for producing connector products when they have special needs.

LCP plastic material: This material is suitable for various spacing series of female connectors, with a welding resistance temperature of 260 degrees and a maximum instantaneous temperature of 320 degrees. Due to its low coefficient of linear expansion. Injection molding has low shrinkage rate, outstanding strength and elastic modulus, good heat resistance, high load deformation temperature, some can reach 340 degrees or above. LCP also has excellent chemical resistance and airtightness, so it is generally preferred for connectors, especially TLCP materials. Due to the high cost of materials, special customers who use this material generally have this requirement.
