The main electrical properties of wire to board connector include contact resistance, insulation resistance and electrical strength.

1. Contact resistance
High quality electrical connectors should have low and stable contact resistance. The contact resistance of the connector ranges from a few milliohm to tens of milliohm.

2. Insulation resistance
The index of insulation performance between electrical connector connectors and between contact and shell is in the range of hundreds of megohm to several Giga ohm.

3. Electrical strength
Electrical strength, also known as withstand voltage and dielectric withstand voltage, is the ability to withstand rated test voltage between connector contacts or between contacts and enclosure.

4. Other electrical properties
EMI leakage attenuation is to evaluate the EMI shielding effect of connectors, and EMI leakage attenuation is to evaluate the EMI shielding effect of connectors, which is generally tested in the frequency range of 100MHz ~ 10GHz.
